Here's the original poster for the silent movie that was made from this play:

Have at close look at the tag-line under Arthur Wing Pinero's name.

Nice painting here too: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Billie-Burke-Mind-the-Paint-Girl.jpg

I'd better not. I hear that Xena makes frequent donations to the Red Cross Blood Bank ... just not her own.

Cheers,
Chris
Nice. The print and painting would be good material for the CD cover.

Thanks, Todd

Ah, you know it! Let me know if you want a different voice for stage directions, which is fine. Otherwise, I'm crazy enough for one more. . . .

I've recently gotten into designing covers so would be happy to design this one if possible! I understand that only the BC can pre-claim, though...
(My other cover designs can be found under https://leanneyau.wordpress.com/other-services/)

Also, another idea for the cover would be the sheet music cover on Wikimedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Mind_the_Paint.pdf
Or this https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:The_Mind-the-Paint_Girl_(1919)_-_3.jpg

Just looking at what roles can be claimed together:

Most of the male roles appears in Acts 2 or 3 so no double claims are possible. Herbert Fulkerson is in Acts 2+3. Stewart Heneage, Gerald Grimwood, Carlton Smythe, Douglas Glynn, Alber Palk, Wilfrid Tavish, Morris Cooling, Luigi, and the Bearded Waiter all appear in Act 2.

However, Gladys, who appears in Acts 1+4 can be claimed alongside ANY of the female roles that appears in Acts 2 and/or 3 - that's Daphne Dure who appears in Acts 2+3, and Nita and The Four Beauties (Flo, Sybil, Olga, Evangeline) who only appear in Act 2.

Great. Any voice you wish is fine with me - you already always make the narrator into a full-fledged character in the play.

 excellent, keeping up this strange accent must have been difficult. I wonder if this is really a genuine German accent  they don't constantly say 'b' for 'p' as far as I know (not those that I know at least)

Well...the baron is a bit of a slimy person (or is that "berson" ? ) and is he really offering Enid a trip to Ostende to get some favours in return, or is that just my dirty mind ?

Great job on the German poem, Nemo  excellent portrayal all around, definitely a memorable character of the play. All acts PL ok.

Thanks !

Based on Leanne's findings on the roles - I was thinking of claiming Gladys anyway, so why don't I take her, and Sonia, can you or Todd assign me also one of the four beauties, doesn't matter which?

In Mittel-Franken they do. B instead of P, and D instead of T. Just ask my friend Hans-Beder (Hans-Peter). They say “Baden” for “Patin” (bathing instead of godmother). :D
