what an absolute riot at that party !!!! It must have been a lot of visuals to the audience to have so many people on stage and each talking in their small groups or in dialogues in different corners. Even here there are so many voices, but we all sound so distinct and they are all very different characters. I especially loved the great finale with Lilly laughing happily while the curtain falls. :9: Very funny was also the drunkard Fulkerson showing up all through the act

And the merging of voices was expertly done, it's great that you put them one after the other the way you did, but still blending into each other, Todd.

I have only a few small notes:

> at 13:52: missing stage direction: Ha, Dolly! Kissing her. How are you, my dear? - I'm not sure if Brad inserted a kissing sound here that you maybe wanted to use and then forgot :hmm:

> from-26:40-27:05: "Many happy returns of the day!" I must admit, this assemblage felt quite a bit too long for my taste, the first half was ok but then it started to be a bit overkill. There were not nearly enough people on stage to warrant such a long greeting. I think with only half the length you would already amply convey a huge party with lots of guests congratulating Lilly.

> at 44:27: Bland to Nita "Nita" - I think here we can cut the stage direction, since Bland says the name, we all know who he is talking to

the rest perfect as always, and highly entertaining ! Bravo all !

I hardly ever complain about your great suggestions, but I do disagree here.

Missing stage direction - not in the stage direction file. Seemed okay without it to me. The noise of kissing without a stage direction might not be easily understood - I don't remember cutting anything from Brad but I would have anyway without a direction first. (In another place that follows there is a stage direction about kissing Dolly's hand.)

I'll play with this some more. Ideally I'd like to get the cries to fade behind Jimmy's words, but it is proving very hard to do that and keep the multiple Audacity tracks synchronized.... Stay tuned.

There are many groups separately talking on stage at this point - identified in similar stage directions: Roper to Mrs Stidulph, Daphne to Hennige, De Castro to Gabrielle. The "Bland to Nita" stage direction is important not because it is Bland or Nita, but because it identifies that Bland and Nita are in another of the separate groups swirling around on stage at the time.

oops, my bad then, sorry  and yes of course, it's not crucial. We can easily leave it out.

ok fair enough, it might be more explanatory, sure, no harm done to keep them in :)

In any case, these were trivial notes, the act is grandiose as it is. :9:

Okay, I think I got the party scene and "Many Happy Returns" fixed nicely - you might listen for the next minute after that to see if I realigned everything afterwards better.

Thank you so much Sonia! I really appreciate your comments on this.

Two more acts to go; I think they will be easier.....

wow you did blend in Jimmie's comments nicely. This works excellently. The happy returns are still a bit too long LOL but yes it probably should show the whole enthusiasm.

> at 26:57: the stage directions "Jimmie battling with the men" are not too clearly understandable here, I was wondering whether you subdue the background mayhem here a bit more or make Larry louder to hear him better. Jimmie's voice is easier heard over the din, but the narrator is a bit difficult. :hmm: Is it too late to change volume here ?

If it doesn't work, it's PL ok. An excellent assembling. You outdid yourself again, Todd.

this was brilliant performance. Well, already the first half was excellent from the whole cast, but what was really a highlight was the steamy dialogue between Jeyes and Lilly in the second half. Absolutely strong performance there, by both of them.

Everything perfectly assembled, I don't think I need to make any PL notes this time. (I know - a rare occurence  )

PL ok

Wonderful job, Todd ! Thanks

Sonia,

I can't figure out how "lunta4los" got into the MW for Luigi. There is no posting in this project forum under that name. Shows up as "Pier" in the cast list so obviously already has a reader number, so I don't want to add "lunta4los" as a new reader and maybe really mess things up. But I need to put the reader name into Act 2 somehow....

Do you recall what happened?

Thanks, Todd

Never mind - that first letter is an "I" not a small "L". Confusing typeface we've chosen for the MW Section Complier...

yes, it's a capital 'i' at the beginning and also in the middle. But you found out for yourself. The setlist looks good to me.

And as for Act 4: it's perfectly PL ok. Wouldn't change a thing. Excellent finale. I love the merging when Roper, Ma and Jimmie are crowding in on Lily.

Well, we're at the end here, you can proceed to catalogue 8-)

Great job !

Thanks for the entertaining listen.
