oh!!!! Hey - while editing my recording, there was one sentence that was driving me NUTS trying to figure out the inflection/meaning both while recording, and then while editing. I'd been reading from the link listed (the PG HTML view, as I don't have the apps to use the other file types in their list). It finally occurred to me far later than it should have to check an original full scan of the book. Sure enough, PG's text is missing a page in its HTML version.

So I read in the missing page, using the full scan of the book at this location: https://archive.org/details/cu31924021974138/page/n209

I'm going to go now and see if there's a way to report to PG about the missing page in their version.
~Lynette * - family visiting, very slow response and PL work until the 22nd.
Fancy some fun character recording? Small parts needed in these dramatic novels: Clouds of Witness | Ivanhoe (DR)

Wow, that is bizarre. PG is usually pretty good at catching things like this - I guess mistakes do happen. Good catch though! I do know there is a way to report errors to PG, but have never done so myself so I wouldn't be much help. Thanks for letting me know.

EDIT: I put a little note in the MW for the PLer

I found Project Gutenberg's errata instructions and sent in a report so they can fix the missing page. :)

Nice work. I'm sure it may take some time, but hopefully they will fix it eventually.

PL OK! Nice reading. Only one thing to keep in mind: it doesn't really matter here, but be careful that you don't read Miss as Mrs. I could see that being confusing in a few situations.

Only one note for this:

11:15 – repeat of ‘great glass panes’

I was following with the text, and didn't seem to see any missing page. Was it this chapter you were talking about?

Yes, this was the chapter with the missing page. I sent PG an errata email through their notification channel. Maybe they already fixed it! pretty impressive.

PL OK! Nice work, especially since it seems I put the wrong time stamp. That does seem pretty impressive! Well, whatever it is is a good thing.

Wonderful recording, only one little note:
3:11 – repeat of ‘it had its vacuous smile for trees and fields’

Thanks for reading!
