Good reading, but there are a few more changes to be made.

Your opening "silence" is too long. It needs to be one second or less. Your closing silence is too short; it needs to be about five seconds.

But, you also need the prescribed intro and "outro." Here are the instructions from Point 7 in the initial post for this project. (Always check these points when recording for a new project):

START of recording (Intro)
" [Section number] of Mother Earth, Vol. 1 No. 1, March 1906. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org"
If you wish, say: "Recording by [your name], [city, your blog, podcast, web address]"
Say:
" Mother Earth, Vol. 1 No. 1, March 1906, [Section Number, Section Title ] by "Authors""

END of recording
At the end of the section, say:
"End of [Section]"
If you wish, say:
"Recording by [your name], [city, your blog, podcast, web address]"

=====

Since you need to make these changes, I also suggest that you apply some noise reduction because the background hum is quite loud. If you are using Audacity, use the Noise Reduction in the Effect menu. I would suggest selecting you noise sample from the opening silence. There are some good tutorials on this, but if you need help, let me know.

Upload your new file under the same name, then post the link and new file length here.

Don't worry, these procedural and technical things do get easier as you go along. Then you can relax and enjoy the experience of reading!

And, so we can move over to Readers Found and maybe complete this for the "March to the Finish," I can take the remaining Section 11 -- a strange little piece, but it should be fun to do.

Thanks for the recording tips.
Do I say " Mother Earth, Vol. 1 No. 1, March 1906, Section Number 5, “Try Love” by "Grace Potter”” again AFTER I say Recording by"?

Thanks.
