En nog 3 hoofdstukken toegevoegd, 11, 12 en 13.

Met daarin een bijzin die moeilijker is om uit te spreken dan op het eerste gezicht lijkt: "wat ze net in mijn inktpot mikte."... Die heb ik een paar keer moeten oefenen...

By the way, Ava - dbnl has now added the online text of the edition that I'm reading from: https://www.dbnl.org/tekst/marx002hbst01_01/ - I checked, and it's the same that I've used. So now we don't even need the scan I had. I've added the info to the first post. I can't add the project info into the system myself (still getting used to no MC powers anymore

En natuurlijk kon ik het niet laten om het dan gelijk maar af te maken - de laatste hoofdstukken staan ook klaar om te proefluisteren, Marcel.

Ik heb ook de samenvatting klaargemaakt, en heb ook een 'cover' klaar staan om te gebruiken. (Ava: I've also made a cover to use).

You can upload the cover when you have the final running time and post the link here. I can then add it rightaway during cataloging.

Just in case, do remind me again of the textlink when it's time to catalog...

Hallo Anna,

Was bij mijn vader en moeder op bezoek. Mijn moeder gaat het boek direct beluisteren want ze vond het als meisje ook een heel leuk en ondeugend boek.
Ik vond het zelf ook leuk al heb ik begrepen dat deze wilde meid op het einde toch een brave huisvrouw gaat worden.

I'm cataloging....

The photo is nice but not okay since it's from 1925. We'd need 1923 or earlier for it to be PD in the US. Sorry 'bout that. Please replace the picture and reupload a new cover, either here or over in the covers thread.

But the photograph has been put in the public domain specifically by the archive - they state that on the website. It's not that I presumed public domain because of the age of the picture, it has been put there.
