The Poems of Madison Cawein Vol 4 by Madison Cawein (1865 - 1914).

This project is now complete! All audio files can now be found on the catalog page for this project https://librivox.org/the-poems-of-madison-cawein-vol-4-by-madison-cawein/
This is Volume 4: Poems of Mystery and of Myth and Romance of the collected works of Madison Julius Cawein, an American poet from Kentucky. It falls into three sections: Poems of Mystery, Poems of Myth and Romance, and Song and Story. ( Larry Wilson)
    1. How to claim a part, and "how it all works" here To find a section to record, simply look at point 5. below at the sections. All the ones without names beside them are "up for grabs." Click "Post reply" at the top left of the screen and tell us which section you would like to read (include the section number from the left-most column in the reader list, please). Read points 6. to 8. below for what to do before, during and after your recording.
    2. New to recording? Please read our Newbie Guide to Recording!
    3. Is there a deadline? We ask that you submit your recorded sections within 1-2 months of placing your claim. Please note that to be fair to the readers who have completed their sections in a timely way, if you haven't submitted your recording(s) after two months, your sections will automatically be re-opened for other readers to claim, unless you post in this thread to request an extension. Extensions will be granted at the discretion of the Book Coordinator. If you cannot do your section, for whatever reason, just let me know and it'll go back to the pool. There's no shame in this; we're all volunteers and things happen. Please do not sign up for more sections than you can complete within the two month deadline.
    4. Where do I find the text? Source text (please only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/56326
    5. Please claim sections (the numbers in the first column below)! If this is your first recording, please let me know under which name or pseudonym you'd like to appear in the LibriVox catalogue. We can also link to a personal website/blog.

Prospective Prooflisteners: Please read the Listeners Wanted FAQ before listening! Level of prooflistening requested: standard

Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

Thank you, Sonia!
I'm so sorry if I misunderstood a previous communication. I would not presume upon your good graces, but I do appreciate your taking this up again. :D

Jordan, perhaps I can all up your expertise as proof reader just to look over the MW window to see if there are any mistakes. I don't see any, but other eyes are valuable, as we all know, and I don't want to hand Sonia a mess again.

I've put myself in for a few sections, but if there are any you want to read, Jordan, just let me know.

And, with that, I think we are ready for readers!

don't worry about it. Maybe I simply forgot that I said it.
I don't want to hand Sonia a mess again.
if we find any blank section this time, we will insist on changing the file names immediately. The mess happened when I deleted the blank section in the end and wanted to automatically rename all the files. I must have clicked a wrong button, but I don't want this happening again

You'll be glad I just checked...

'Old Homes' is incorrectly labelled in the table of contents, so instead of being the eighth poem (as you had it), it's actually the 104th. So double check what numbers your sections are if you've claimed some.

Hi Larry -

Going like hotcakes! I'd like 5, 13, 23, 29, 37, 56, 57, 72, 88, and 118. I think those are still available. :hmm:
