> Todd and Bhavya: I checked out graceike who volunteered for the part of the Bride in The Grandmother. It's been over two months now, and she hasn't logged on anymore since then and hasn't done a one-minute-test yet. Maybe it's time to orphan the part ? :hmm:
Bhavya, I also volunteer to PL your final assembled play, because I would really love to hear this one assembled.

Sonia
If it is alright, let's orphan the part. And thank you for volunteering to PL!

Spoiler alert!
Curt turns into quite the Sherlock Holmes in the end ( but without the cold heartedness  )
Borrowing a bit from Orwell's 1984, maybe the play is a reflection of how people blindly believe what they are told, instead of questioning it; and Curt is a bit like Winston- finally wakes up and questions "the truth".

just to make sure: I wanted to do the final PL on the assembled act, not on the several roles that come in now. Since you are the editor, you cannot PL your own work, so that's what I volunteered for. :)

And thank you, Tomas for your role in Everybody's Husband. MW is updated.

Sonia
I will be on vacation from Wednesday 27 March till Sunday 14 April
and unable to PL during that time. Thank you for your patience.

Ok, took a listen, nice work ! Such a character, and this whole thing will go together so nicely! Just one little comment:

Your silence between lines was a bit short. It was pretty consistently at 1.5 seconds, even occasionally down to 1. I know editors generally ask for 2-3 (but many like 3 better), so this is not too far off, just something to think about. It's Devorah's choice if she wants longer :).

Overall, great reading!

Sorry for the long wait for PL - I was very busy with finals week and didn't get a chance to work on my PL backlog for a little while.

Excellent job! I especially liked the hysterical sobbing :D Ethel Quenton is PL OK

Also, if you want to add this to your list of possible sources for one act plays, Percival Wilde wrote quite a few good one act plays. Here is a link to all the scans available on archive: https://archive.org/search.php?query=creator%3A%22Wilde%2C+Percival%2C+1887-1953%22

Section 31 should also be marked PL OK, as it's been checked.

Yay! So glad you liked it. And no apologies necessary. I'm a teacher and have just about reached burn-out myself! :) :)
