Foon wrote: February 18th, 2019, 3:39 am Question:

Bell has a song in chapter 10 (which I didn't realise until now). Would you like me to sing it? I'm not sure I know the melody, nor do I have a great singing voice..
That is ok. You don't have to. Just read the english that is right above it. I might learn it myself and put it in. I've done songs in my stories before :)

Thanks everyone. I'll be listening soon.

LOL or perhaps there is someone on this project who speaks Spanish and sings? If not I’ll just leave it out.
Alright, here's chapter 10.
What I did: I both read the lines of the song, as well as made an attempt at singing. It doesn't quite have the correct melody, but I didn't know how to get it correct! Feel free to use either or neither. And let me know if there's anything else you'd like me to do!

Thank you. :) I like the singing. We are permitted to make up our own tunes, so that's ok!
One thing, could you say the title for me at 02:28 "Las Palomas. (The Doves.)" right before the verse?

I spent a while trying to pick out the tune myself, but I wasn't sure I was getting it totally right. 2/4 timing kicking my butt. It's been too long.

I think this should be it for Elsie Howard. There are a few extra coughs I left in to add atmosphere to her invalid state, just in Ch 1. They could be easily edited out if you decide you don't want them. She also has a slightly hoarse voice - so do I right now, so I thought I'd put it to good use!

OOps - I've just realised that the chapter I've called 7 is actually 8. I can reload it if you want the name changed, but it's the correct chapter recording.

Thanks! That's OK, I'll just use it for Chapter 8 as is. :) I hope your throat feels better soon.

Thanks! I'll unsubscribe from the thread now, as I think it will be a while before completion. When this project is complete it might be nice to message everyone who read for it - that's what I usually do when BCing a long-running dramatic work.

If acceptable, I can do the parts of both #13 Mrs. Howard and #14 Mrs. Oliver since they only have a few lines each.

Sure, that's fine. They are in the same chapters, but they never actually talk to one another. :)
