Hello again,

I wanted to share my attempt at Section 19, however its unedited, but I would like your opinion on the audio quality (because I used my laptop mic instead of a headset). Please can you have a listen and let me know what you think about this and then I will get to work editing or redoing this section?

Please review the following audio recording related to Section 19: https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/sonatfront_19_wharton_128kb.mp3 Time 25:02

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Kind regards,
Chad
I spot-listened to a few seconds here and there, and I think the sound quality is even better :)

Hello,

Please review this newly created audio recording for Section 17:
https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/sonatfront_17_wharton_128kb.mp3 Time: 19:43

Best wishes,
Chad
Hello, Chad!
This recording is fine, except around 15:06 where there is some distortion at the phrase "from the Barye cire-perdue on a peach-coloured marble mantel". If re-recording that phrase makes it sound better, please do.

Hi Chad, thanks a lot. You have another chapter to fix if I remember correctly. Could you check?
Love gothic novels? Try Children Of The Abbey. Interested in legents? Try Legents Of Saints And Sinners. Interested in femenist fiction? Try Falkner.

Hi Chad!

PL notes: The recording stops at end of page 226, but there are a couple more paragraphs on page 227 before the chapter ends. Could you add those, too?

I think chapter 20 is jinxed  Did you have a careful listen to the whole of the recording to fix the stumbles like I suggested? There are still stumble-repeats, quite a few to ignore.

Hey all! So excited to see all the amazing progress. Just a quick note to say I've had a busy month, but am planning to have the final chapter recorded and submitted by the end of this week. Thanks!

Great! Here it is, Chapter 15: https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/sonatfront_15_wharton_128kb.mp3. Run time is 15:04. Thanks, team :)
Captivating reading!

My only PL note is about a difference in syntax, somewhere after 12:30 in the recording, page 184 in the text, where Mrs Brant speaks, I think it's supposed to be "But to have the right to say that, you ought to be in the trenches yourself", instead of "But to have the right to say, that you ought to be in the trenches yourself".
It changes the meaning of the sentence, but an optional edit, anyway. I'll mark the file PL OK, and feel free to make the edit if you choose to. :)
Hi! Thanks so much for catching that syntax hiccup. Here's an edited version that (hopefully) corrects it: https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/sonatfront_15_wharton_128kb.mp3. Time 15:04.
