Just one small PL note for Chapter 8: At around 4:58, a sentence missing between the dialogue (Campton reddened under her lashless blue gaze, and the consciousness of doing so made his answer all the curter.)

Hi all! New volunteer here and would love to join in on this project. Could I claim 32 / Chapter XXXII? It's a bit shorter, and I might want to start with a smaller section if that's alright. My microphone should be arriving early this week, I'll post a 1-minute test, and then hoping to start recording by next weekend. I'd like to appear as "Riley McGuire" in the catalogue. Thanks! (I recently listened to both House of Mirth and Age of Innocence on LibriVox and am a huge Wharton fan).

All my best,
Riley

Hello
Riley,
welcome to Librivox. I hope you will enjo here. Sure, chapter 32 is all yours. Please submit a one-minute sampal recording, to make sure your technical settings is all correct, and tell us if there is a URL which you would like us to link to your name. Have fun,

Thanks, miss stav! You can link my name with the following: https://www.english.upenn.edu/people/riley-mcguire.

I posted my one-minute test in the "Listeners & Editors Wanted" forum, but it seems like there's a few tests there that haven't received any feedback over the last few days, so I thought I'd post my test here as well, in case anyone has any advice they'd be willing to share. Here's my test: https://librivox.org/uploads/tests/test_rmcguire.mp3. This was recorded on a MacBook Pro using Audacity and a USB mic and is "raw." Thanks in advance!

Edit: I've received feedback on my test and will be recording my first Wharton chapter soon—thanks all!

Hi everyone,
Here is Chapter 32/XXXII: https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/sonatfront_32_wharton_128kb.mp3. The duration is 14:38.

As this is my first ever recording, I welcome any advice or feedback on how to improve (or errors I can fix in this particular recording).
I'd also like to claim more sections, if I could: could I do sections 33, 34, and 35? Thanks everyone!
