With the fixes, chapter 19 is PL OK. I'll mark the Magic Window.

Elisabeth, thanks for the nice read. I see you are already signed up for chapters in a couple other books - good on you!

Here are my last three chapters:

Chapter 13 - https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/cowardlylionofoz_13_thompson_128kb.mp3 Duration - 18:59
Chapter 14 - https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/cowardlylionofoz_14_thompson_128kb.mp3 Duration - 19:04
Chapter 17 - https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/cowardlylionofoz_17_thompson_128kb.mp3 Duration - 16:16

This is my third Librivox book that I've worked on - and in terms of reading - I'm pretty sure it was by far my favorite! I loved this one. Thanks for letting me be part of it.

Great! It’s a bit discombobulating listening to the later chapters without having read the story in advance - who are these characters, anyway? Yes, it is a great book.

I’ll have a listen tomorrow.

Yeah - I have to read the book as I go. I can't disconnect from the story. So - sometimes it takes me a bit longer as I have to read up to my chapter. :)

Thanks for your six chapters in this book. I'm enjoying Cowardly Lion of Oz as well - it'll be a great addition to the LibriVox library.

Chapter 18 - Notta's Last Disguise - PL OK
Thank you, Josh! Your chapters 3, 4, 5, and now 18 are in the can.

The Checker program complains mildly about background noise in your chapter. You do have some very low frequency rumble in your recording, down around 20-30 Hz. That's below any frequencies in the human voice - in future recordings you could reduce this rumble by using a high pass filter somewhere in your editing process. If you do that, gentle settings on the filter - maybe 6 dB/octave starting at 150 Hz - should do the trick. Or not - although I could see this rumble in the waveform and on the level meters, it wasn't loud enough to really come through on my headphones.

Thank you Rich. I finally got around to setting that filter up. I also appreciate the note that it can't really pick up but I also think that if I can do something about the hum, I should. Have a great day!

Great! Keep recording, and keep having fun doing it.

I'm looking forward to getting this book into the library, loading it into my phone, and re-listening to it in the proper order.
