I am new and have already submitted my test recording.

I would like to take Section 21, The Fall of Richmond
Thank you
Rita
Sure! How would you like to be listed in the LV catalog? May of us use our real names, but you may choose any pseudonym or nickname that you like.

I'd like sections 8 and 9 if that works.

This is my first recording and I'd like to be credited by forum handle.

I would be happy to have you join this project. :)

We do, however, request that new readers complete a one-minute test recording first.
Please follow the link in the Newbie Guide to Recording for instructions. You will find this in Point 2 of the initial post in this forum thread. You'll also find a lot of good information there to get you off to a good start.

Once you have the "OK" on your test, post your request again here and I'll sign you up.

Welcome!

May I claim the Preface and 1...

If you would still like these, let me know.
I've got quite enough to read and would be glad to have you join the project.

BTW, the picture I have is a very nice sign of the road we stayed on in Maui -- Betty B Drive, if you would like it.

Thank you for thinking of me. I'm finishing up a solo so I may check in next week or so to try a couple of chapters but for now its fine for you to keep them.

Funny about that street in Maui. Not sure if we saw it when we were there.

Hi
You can use Rita Boutros when listing my name

I'm a little concerned, though, that I haven't received any feedback about my test yet. It was submitted yesterday. Should it take this long?
Thank you

Okay, that's fine.

Well, it is off the beaten track and is actually a private drive.
It leads the the Brewster Rest Haven where we stayed for our 30th and 40th anniversaries. It is a bit up the hill overlooking Kihei with beautiful views of Lanai, Kaho'olawe and Molokini -- and West Maui, of course. This is a private guest house made available very cheaply for ministers and missionaries, active or retired. We're a little of both at this point. The drive is named for Betty Brewster, of the benefactor family. We hope to return again for our 45th.
