Don't worry about it, that's what I'm here for!

It's in the MW. I'll PL within a couple of days, I hope. (Still hoping for a DPL for this project, but I'll continue to do what I can until we find one.)

Could I take a shot at recording section 20, Toto the non-progressive?

Absolutely, and welcome to LibriVox! :D I see you've already jumped in to recording, so just let me know if you have any questions specific to this project, and I'll be happy to answer the best I can. Enjoy!

Thanks Devorah!

Yes I definitely feel like I’m learning each time I read and record.

Well, I wasn't expecting that kind of an intro to Eohippus! I've now read or listened to at least one section from each story in this book except one, and this is the first one where the narrator makes an appearance! I thought I was listening to the wrong book at first!

In any case, you did a fine job narrating it. I'm very interested to see where this will go. I just have a few minor corrections for you:
  • In the intro, please say "Section 7" instead of "Chapter 7." This is pretty minor, and I wouldn't have asked you to change it if there hadn't been any other edits to do, but for the sake of consistency, I'd like "section" here.
  • At about 0:21, before you state the section title, please add "Stories of the First American Animals, by George Langford."
  • At 13:16, I'm hearing "...but watched the Down Horse closely..." This should be Dawn Horse.
Thanks! :D

I uploaded section 7 some time ago.
Checking the MW I note it says "check PL notes".

i haven't seen any notes. Is there something I should do?

I would have replied sooner, but i did not recognize your first post of the notes since they did not have my name or section number included.
