Chapter 47 is PL OK.

Two notes for chapter 48

1.05, omission, second full para p. 368
…and Face-of-god, who was standing close by, [beheld him] and deemed that tears were falling from his eyes on to the hall-floor.

5.44-5.47, p. 371 first full stanza first two lines
Fell many a man
‘Neath [heard near] the edges wan,

I normally associate Morris with Nordic legends and (predominantly) Nordic and Germanic diction, so the scene with the desecration of the bodies of heroes came as a surprise. I thought that was straight out of the Greek, as with Hector outside Troy. Maybe that's just me - or perhaps it's just a sign that Morris is full of surprises and unexpected twists and turns!

Chapter 50, 51 and 52 are PL OK.

One note for chapter 49:
13.11-13.44, p. 378 second and third lines
…since he deemed [heard seemed] that she would live and presently be happy…

If you're really good at patching in from elsewhere (I'm not, but some people are!), in chapter 50, the next chapter, there is an instance at 1.17 of ‘he deemed’. I don't know if you prefer to rerecord or to handle it purely in editing.

Hi Erin,

Just checking in after a while away, and I see you've finished. Thank you! Lots of corrections to make. I'll get them done during the week when I'm back at my mike.

No problem at all. You're away from your mic and I'm still in another time zone, so I figure we're ahead of the game! May you have fast and flawless corrections at your next recording.

Hi Anne, Has there been any discussion about problems with file uploading? I have all the files ready to finish this project, but I can't upload them. I've tried three different computers and two different internet connections! I am repeatedly getting the red 'Error, not true' message. Phil

OK - sorry about the delay, I've been invaded with grand children and am using different computers and things seem to have slipped through the net when I switch - they are supposed to be synched
