This story contains racial slurs and the "n" word. I wanted to give you a heads-up before listening.

Hi Michael -

You have a really great voice! It was a pleasure listening to you!

This is a standard PL so I am just looking for things that change the meaning of the text that you recorded. I did want to note though that you do have a habit of adding extra words that are not in the text when you are recording. I am only asking you to remove one as the others would be harder and require more re-recording. In addition, we do need a smidge of time at the beginning and then 5 seconds (plus or minus a second) at the end of the recording. Your recording started and ended with no silence at all. The silence is needed during the compilation of the project after everyone has recorded.

0:18 – missing “one” – you recorded the other part numbers so you also need to say one. You also can say Part one, Part two etc.
10:31 – missing sentence at beginning of paragraph - "The little farce was played out with great success next morning."
12:38 = heard “you are very clever” – text does not include “very” please remove
14:13 - Please add 5 seconds of silence at the end of the recording – this is needed for every Librivox recording.

Hi there!

This is now PL OK based on the edits that I suggested to you.

Please next time do not add any more silence to the beginning of the recording - you were fine at the .5 to 1 second. Now at 3 seconds it is a little long however it will be fine this time. Please keep it closer to the .5 to 1 second at the beginning and 5 seconds at the end of the recording though :)
