Hello, Carolin

I will be happy to be DPL for this one as well. We seem to have the same interest in History books :mrgreen:

Section 19:

There is only 1-2 seconds of silence at the end of the recording, when there should be 5. Also, the recording is a bit on the softer side, at 86dB, so I recommend amplifying a bit. :)

Hello! I would like to read sections 21 and 22 please! This would be my first recording and I just submitted my one minute test for feedback. In the catalogue I would like to be put under the name Sarah Lorenowich.

Thank you!

Gotcha. Here's a version I tried to fix -- MP3Gain didn't seem to do much good for the volume on my end, but then again the headphones I use aren't the best for proof-listening. There should be enough silence at the end now, though.

here is Chapter 2. No Vikings as I was expecting, but lots of British and Hanseatic pirate-action. These were not safe times for merchants to cross the sea. :?

Section 2 is PL OK!

Section 4: besides the name of the file that is not following the suggested scheme, I noted that
- between 8:58 and 9:02 there is a long-ish silence;
- at 21:41-42 there is a slight stumble;
- there is only 1 second of silence at the end.

I think I fixed everything you listed above. I had a bit of trouble finding the stumble you mentioned at 21:41, but I did what I could in terms of editing to make it sound smoother and more natural. If it's still too, er... stumble-y, just let me know and I'll rerecord the lines there!
