Thank you for your recording.
There are just a couple of things that need attention.
First, at the end, please add: "End of poem. This recording is in the public domain."
Second, the closing silence has noise in it, especially right at the end.
Third, minor, but since you'll be correcting this, please trim the opening silence to keep it at one second or less.
Finally, this recording could benefit greatly from some noise reduction to eliminate that background hum. You can use the ending silence as your sample and then use the Noise Reduction feature if you are using Audacity.
Let me know if you need help with any of this.
