Chapter 3 Notes:

Just a few minor things I noted (which may affect author intent or context):

@1:57: "… the habit in Harry the seven's time …" read as "… the habit in Harry the seventeen's time …"

@2:24: Small stumble: "This predecessor of yours … ours … you see …" ("ours" is in the book)

@9:00: Missing words: "Innocence of life and great ability were …"

I've been having some problems with my recording system, so I'm going to be doing another one minute test because I'm changing my recording system. The problem was with that odd high pitched noise, and apparently it was getting worse.

Thank for the head's up; no worries. I've been following the discussion in your other solo, where it seems you were experiencing the same issue as I PMed. It's great that you found a solution to it. I just wish I could have been of more help.

I did listen to your new One Minute Test (and I'll post a comment there if you'd like). The recording was so, so, so much better with the new system.

Without that odd noise, the test recording makes your voice much more strong, clear and gives the narration more depth (IMHO).
