Days With Sir Roger de Coverley by Joseph Addison (1672 - 1719) and others.

All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/days-with-sir-roger-de-coverley-by-joseph-addison/

The author Sir Richard Steele, who was one of the Spectator's, gets the opportunity to spend a month in Sir Roger de Coverley's house. (Elijah Fisher)
  • Text source (only read from this text!): http://www.gutenberg.org/files/3318/3318-h/3318-h.htm
  • Type of proof-listening required (Note: please read the PL FAQ): standard

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the amount of languishing projects (and hence the amount of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
Please don't download or listen to files belonging to projects in process (unless you are the BC or PL). Our servers are not set up to handle the greater volume of traffic. Please wait until the project has been completed. Thanks!

All set.
You could probably shorten the file name if you wish. You could also skip the ID tags as they are superfluous.
Let me know if you need anything else.
I'll leave the project on the Launch Pad for a couple of days to see if it attracts a DPL.

Have fun.

That's right. Click on the pencil at the top right of the first post to edit. At this point, you can edit it however you like although it should be unique. Longer names invite errors, which is why I suggest a shorter one. sirrogerdecoverley would work, but its your choice. Once you start submitting files, it gets more complicated (mostly for me  )

Good job on Chapter 1.

There's only one issue I've noted, as it seems to affect the intent of the sentence:

@ 6:47: the word endowments is garbled or cut off from the phrase …

… besides the endowments required of him …

Let me know what you think.

That's probably where my mp3 made a recording mistake, but I'll fix that easily  Thank you Don!
