Thank you for being so understanding. This is going to be a wonderful project with great readers. (Will you do Hucklebery Finn after this? )

No problem. Yes, Huckleberry Finn will certainly be a splendid 2nd project after this. Would you be interested in that when I start it?

Lomond,
I will definitely send you a PM once I begin! Just need to finish this project though, first, before I take on another

As BC you should post this link into the Magic Window "Listen URL" box, and then mark it "Ready for PL"

Hey would you change the link to the text to be the main page for that book? It's kinda irritating to be sent to the html version if a reader wants plaintext or kindle. And the database should have the main page listed, not the html page.

This is the correct url: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/74

Thanks!

Greetings -

The reading was just fine, but, oops, you omitted the standard opening introduction. :(

Lomond

EDIT by Phil (Hope you don't mind me piggybacking here Lomond) : Read it as specified in the first post Of course in this case you would say "Preface of The Adventures...." and at the end say "end of preface"
Make sure you add this to the beginning of your recording:
START of recording (Intro)
"Chapter [number] of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org"
If you wish, say: "Recording by [your name], [city, your blog, podcast, web address]"
Say:
" The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain [Chapter]"

END of recording
At the end of the section, say:
"End of [Chapter]"
If you wish, say:
"Recording by [your name], [city, your blog, podcast, web address]"
At the end of the book, say (in addition):
"End of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain "
