 Big help!
I was wondering: Does it make any difference if, when exporting as mp3, 'Joint Stereo' is the selected option?

Hello,
I would like to record Section 38, "How the Wind Fixed Matters". This will be my first Librivox recording (I've already done the sound test).
Thanks,
Carolyn

Thank you leselle.

I'm still getting caught up from my travels, so it will be this weekend before I can begin PLing. Will give you feedback soon!

MaryAnn

Hi Campbell,

I already claimed chapter 38 in a previous post on this thread. I understand that you probably hadn't realized this since it hasn't been added to the "Magic Window" yet. I have actually already recorded chapter 38 and I am waiting for my name to be added to the "Magic Window" before I post the mp3 to be proof-listened. I hope you understand.

Have a nice day.

Oops, missed that! Sorry. Luckily I haven't started yet :D. Since 38 is already taken may I have 19 instead?

I'm not sure, but Checker gave the OK on your file, so whatever you did is right.
:hmm:

Looking at the "Metadata" section of the "Read this before posting or recording" notes, it says that I'll get my file name info from the post where I signed up for my chapter. But I'm not seeing it...

Help? I am assigned "The Robin's Home".

Thanks in advance for helping!

Betsy,

The instructions to look at are here:
Save files as
128 kbps MP3
mermaidsmessage_##_various_128kb.mp3 (all lower-case) where ## is the section number (e.g. mermaidsmessage_01_various_128kb.mp3)
In the MW, your section is # 16, so your file name will be mermaidsmessage_16_various_128kb.mp3

Let us know we can help with anything else.

Thank you so much! You are SO fast! When I speak the introduction, should I use the word "chapter" or "section"?

I think most people are saying "chapter". On this project, either one is fine.
