Chapter 3: The volume falls outside of the target range (86–92 dB) at 96.6 db - I would suggest reducing volume -7.6 dB to get it to 89 dB.

This sounds really good already, but there is some low background noise, possibly a fan or register, and it would sound great if you ran a noise reduction on it. Here is the link on how to do noise cleaning if you're unfamiliar with it: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Noise_Cleaning (it's very easy to do).

I used MP3Gain Express (I could not download Checker on my Mac) and it is 91.33 dB and within the range. Here is my updated recording: https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/kiddiekatydid_03_bailey_128kb.mp3 4:30

I just checked the beginnings of all the files and they are correct.
