Please review updated audio recording:
https://librivox.org/uploads/icequeen/taleofmuleycow_05_bailey_128kb.mp3 Time 04:00

I am currently having issues with the time scale on Audacity, however, I cut the silence at the end down. If you need me to do it again, that is no problem.

Let me know your thoughts.

Hope this helps! :)

Kind regards,
Chad
Chad - have you tried clicking on the + that is in the magnifying glass in Audacity? I click on it a couple of times and it will then make your recording longer (when editing I usually have it drilled down to showing by second as then I can find the point that the PL person is mentioning to me to fix). In this case, if you expand it to show seconds, and you scroll to the end of your recording, you will see now you only have 4 seconds of silence which is too short. You need to copy and paste now some silence to get it back up to 5 seconds. I hope this helps you in your editing in the future :)

Hello Lynda,

Please review the following updated audio recording:

https://librivox.org/uploads/icequeen/taleofmuleycow_05_bailey_128kb.mp3 Time: 04:01.

I've added another second onto the silence at the end.

Thank you for your advice.

Hope this helps! :)

Kind regards,
Chad

Russ - they are still incorrect. This is the file name for the chapters as displayed on the first page - taleofmuleycow_##_bailey_128kb.mp3 there is no THE - either at the beginning (which you removed) nor in the middle (which still remains).

And these file names need to be changed too please.... also, you only need to tell me the minutes and seconds - please round the decimal of the seconds so 5:04.7 becomes 5:05. I will enter them this time - just remember for the future please :)

Readers don't need to re-upload to fix the file names. I can very easily fix the file name when I catalog the project, with just one push of a "button" I can change all the file names at the same time!

Okay, well then I will copy all of Russ's files into the MW then and I am sure he will appreciate if you will do that!

Helen is the DPL and she is the one who will be listening to your recording and marking it okay or not.

I was just trying to help out with your post about how to see easier how many more seconds there were and how to expand recordings in general.

I've edited these as requested, but let me know if the volume still isn't correct. I was a little confused on how to amplify and I'm not certain I did it properly.

Thanks!!
