perfectly PL ok again, Jim. Interesting to hear the whole story in poetry. It must have been a huge epos that one.

Thank you again

highly interesting section too. The family of this Appius Claudius seems to have been nasty guys over generations. I only recently read a poem about this incident where the father of Lucretia killed his daughter so she wouldn't have to marry Appius Claudius. And now I hear the story again. 8-)

Thank you for yet another great narrative  this is also PL ok.

Well, that's because I am recording at home right now with the nice interface. The rime at dante must be with the other one, if you want to compare (although Pier does the spot PL there, as he wrote me the notes incidentally per PN) ;)

I read also the lines stating "all", "sev. citizens" or "citizens", you can cut out what you don't need :)

edit: sorry, time was wrong

I absolutely adored the scream "We'll mutiny !" This is really the perfect rabble-rousing war cry !!!

I only found two ALL lines still missing here:

> at about 1:34: (p. 386) "The will ! The testament !"
> at about 2:19: (p. 387) "Revenge ! About ! Seek ! Burn ! Fire ! Kill ! Slay !"

a bit more forceful screaming for you

Thanks, Monika, great addition to the play.

Thanks, Sonia. I like the blank verse. Yes, imagine how much effort is involved in creating that rhythm throughout such a long work--like Milton's entire Paradise Lost and Tennyson's Idylls.

:hmm: I thought I'd seen them before. Strange that I missed that chance to scream ;)

and also thanks for this interesting section on the Roman roads. Yes it must have been a feat back then to build all these roads throughout the vast Roman Empire.

This section is immediately PL ok. :)

Some more screams :D

Can't harm to listen to the whole thing; my touchpad was kind of quicker than I so I am not quite sure if all parts still are there

I bet. But it paid of - some of them still exist today, at least in part
