I'll do section 31 if you don't mind proofing it, Larry.
With pleasure!
And, it is PL OK.

I have some extra time at home over the holidays, so I'll get caught up on some of my LV work, and maybe get something new on the launchpad.

Thanks for your good PL work on this project. :9:

Jim, I had volunteered for chapter 31, but Larry apparently forgot to put me in the MW for it. You are welcome to it as I was just trying to get the project finished, and I'm the dpl.

I'm sure Larry will put you in the MW for those shortly.

Yep, I saw the previous claim, but didn't get it in.
But, I'll go ahead and put you in.
Then, it looks as if I'd better get my sections done!

With that, we are FULL!

Something strange. A url for section 30 has appeared in the MW and the section is marked Ready for PL, but I get a 404 message that the file can't be found on the server. I can't find a posting of the url in the project thread either. The url seems to be right; at least I can't find any error in it. The proofing of that will have to wait for a solution.

Thanks for the PL!
I think the end is in sight.
Section 30 was my mistake. The MW can be tricky, and I got this in the wrong place, but thought I had removed it.
Sorry to confuse you.

Section 0 is PL OK. Thank you, Larry. It looks like you did a bit of Librivoxing on Christmas. :)

Here are my other three sections:

https://librivox.org/uploads/dlolso21/storyjohnwesley_01_kirlew_128kb.mp3 6:06
https://librivox.org/uploads/dlolso21/storyjohnwesley_05_kirlew_128kb.mp3 4:17
https://librivox.org/uploads/dlolso21/storyjohnwesley_39_kirlew_128kb.mp3 7:37

The story of Wesley's rescue from the fire is often repeated. He often referred to himseld as "a brand plucked from the burning."

The closing chapter was emotional at the end, esp. as I recalled the feelings that came over me as I stood in the bedroom where he died. The house is next to the chapel behind which he is interred. It was only later that he was honored in Westminster Abbey. His mother, Susanna, is buried in Bunhill Fields across the street from the house and chapel near William Blake, John Bunyan and Daniel Defoe, dissenters all. His father is buried in Epworth.

Sections 1, 5, and 39 are PL OK. Thank you, Larry, for organizing this project. I'm certain that, through this book and the ones by Catherine Booth and Samuel Logan Brengle, God is bringing more of what I think, say and do under the direction of his love and that these recordings will have the same effect on many others. :D

Thanks, Pattymarie!

Well, lurking in my launch pad are a biography of Catherine, and a book by her son Bramwell,
But, I think I'm about ready to launch a larger project, Hurlbutt's Life of Christ. It is set up and ready to go.
