Good morning, Russ--I've spot-checked these files, and all good. Thank you!

Section 84: PL OK
Section 85: PL OK
Section 86: PL OK
Section 87: PL OK

I will try to listen to your new files sometime later today.

Note to Devorah: Actual track length on Section 84 for the MW is 29:20.
Kind regards,
Lucretia

Here are corrected Chapters 075 and 076

https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/negroliterature_075_culp_128kb.mp3 Time: 19:46
https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/negroliterature_076_culp_128kb.mp3 Time: 18:10.5

Thanks for the Shift/K tip for selecting. I think I will find that useful when doing other things such as noise* reduction, where the recording has been done in segments, each of which's noise has to be dealt with individually. Which's :)

* I invariably have some computer fan noise.

Hi again, Russ--Sorry for the delay in my PL'ing. Only one note for you here--

Section 47: PL OK

Section 48:
--At ~1:55 Stumble “...he could best serve his race and his-himself” (I think that it can be easily highlighted and snipped out.)

Section 90: PL OK
Section 91: PL OK

Thank you again! :)

And after spot-checking these two sections, I find them A-OK!

Glad that the highlighting tip may be useful to you. If it makes the editing task a bit easier, then that is a good thing.
Kind regards,
Lucretia

I DO edit these things, but, inexplicitly, miss major missteps. My bad!

Oh, I believe you, Russ! I believe you because it happens to me, too. But no worries--that is the reason that we PL the submissions. Thank you for all of your hard work here--I enjoyed listening to your sections. :)

So I think, Devorah, that all we need is the Outro on Section 93 from Phyllis, and then we will be complete.
Kind regards,
Lucretia

Thank you so much, all! I've PMed Phyllis. Sounds like she's been having mic issues, but I haven't heard anything from her directly yet. If I don't hear from her soon, I may just tack on an outro in my own voice for that one section.

Browsing the forums and saw the edit that needed making, and that the reader hasn't responded.

Here it is (cobbled together from another recording and from the intro):

Aww, thanks, Tricia! I didn't even think of doing it that way! I did hear from her through PM today, and she's still waiting on her mic. But the sooner we can get this checked off, the better!

It sounds very smooth! Nice cobbling! We can lose the "first paper" bit, since this is the only paper in Topic 31.

Hmm. That's how it was in the intro, and I think it would sound bad (wrong inflection) if it were taken out. But I'll do it if you want me to. ;)

Never mind my last post. Inflection in the outro isn't critical.

I'm uploading it, with the "first paper" removed from intro and outro. I'll edit this post when it's fully uploaded.
