One little error: I think you put me down for 1, 2, 3. 2 was already assigned, so I claimed 1, 3, 4.

Hi and welcome to librivox! You are welcome to participate in this project. To be able to sign you up, i need to know under which name or pseudonym you would like to appear in the catalog. We can also link to your personal website or blog.

Section 4 has already been claimed. Can i offer you another open section instead?

Please wait for feedback on your test recording before getting started!

Would anyone be able to tell me what the policy is on footnotes? Should I read them in text, read them after the text, or wholly ignore them? There are a few in my chapters, and also some illustrations with long descriptions.

Daddo, thank you for reminding me of adding a note about footnotes to the first post.
We generally do not read captions of images illustrations or diagrams.
Footnotes are handled differently in each project, so it is always good to double check. I personally leave it up to the reader, if the footnote is interesting it can be read, if it is a reference to another book it can be skipped. Always add "footnote .. end of footnote" if you do read it :) thank you!
