Section 2 is PL: Ok!
Very nicely read; the flow built up appropriate tension, and the French pronuncations were smooth! It was easy to listen to, and I hope to hear more from you soon, dg73!

Not sure if we're allowed to give spoilers here but, damn you, E.F. Dawson! I shouldn't have read this if I had known that you will break my heart! You're as bad as Emily Bronte when she wrote Wuthering Heights! Waaaah!!!

Section 16 is PL Ok!
Again, great sound effects throughout, Kopikido!
Also, in regards to heart-breaking readings:
" I, too, have heard and seen!"
Best,

I know one must not speak ill of the dead but still, damn you, E.F. Dawson for giving me such a sad story...
P.S.
If this gets PL ok'd, I'd like to do The Second Card Wins chapter (s). Yes, I'm too much into this that I am beyond help.

Chapter 17 is PL: Okay!
Nice recording Mary!
Ohhh, I think any author would be *Delighted* to know that her work held such power to evoke deep emotion ... 122 years after the copyright!
And yet more pleased that we, generations after hers, would enjoy the work so much as to record it for the next generations to enjoy!
Best,

Thank you, Angelique and Carolin for the encouragement.
I'm glad that Librivox is here to provide audiobooks that I would not otherwise hear in my lifetime esp., the works of the original writer of Nancy Drew. Someday, I'd like to solo record one of her works.
