(Nice saunter down memory lane...my master's thesis was on Romanov abdications and Chapter 3 was about Peter III and Catherine. Some of the interpretation here is a little wild, but then that's why its a "tale." (I was able subsequently to visit Peterhof, Oranienbaum, St Petersburg and the surrounding countryside but not Schusselberg nor Ropcha). You might want to have an umbrella handy, Dave. Sometimes Schusselberg is a bit damp.
