On the stereo/mono issue, can I ask whether you still have the Audacity project files (ass opposed to the MP3s you have exported from them). If you do have them, when you open a project do you see two tracks (stereo) or just one? No need for any rerecording, we have mono recordings, we just need to get them to come out of both channels.

I ran all the files through the checker. It reports that they are all in mono, so they should be okay on that front.

But it is an easy fix to change one from stereo to mono if you ever need to.
Edit>Select>All.
Tracks> Stereo to Mono.

Thanks, Amy! Let me check this again. There may not be a problem at all. I have just checked a couple files on a different computer and headphones and everything is fine. The problem maybe in the headphones/computer I was using last night rather than the recordings.

Chapter 15 is PL OK, a couple of notes for Chapter 16...

7:56 - 'Friends have said to me...' two sentences missing from the beginning of this paragraph

12:24 - '...that I could feel my eyes starting from their sockets' - I heard 'staring'

23:41 - Check editing around here: '...the fact is that not the half has been told' end of 'told' is clipped and following sentence begins rather loud and then a gap between 'hours' and 'typifies'.

Interesting chapter, especially the last section. On the 'camisole', have you also read Jack London's 'The Jacket'?

This one is still outstanding. The file that you have posted in the thread is correct, but it has a different name to the one in the MW. So if you could change the name of the one you posted in the thread to match the MW (remove [1] from the end of the filename) and then repost, that should fix it!

The start of the file is okay, but the repetition at 6.40 is still there.
