great job again, Alan. Colpoys doesn't seem to be much of a gentleman
I did find two missing lines here though (sorry, the script is a bit confusing):
for Act 2:
> at about 0:04:
Colpoys. [Behind Rose, imitating Gadd.] Child, I confess I adore you.
*****
for Act 3:
> at about 0:17:
[Tom admits Colpoys, who carries a mean-looking "part," and a letter.]
Colpoys: [After formally bowing to the ladies.] Oh, Gadd, Mr. Burroughs instructs me to offer you this part in the pantomime. [Handing the part to Gadd.] Demon of Discontent.
Gutenberg missed to include the name Colpoys here, but I checked with the original in archive:

Thanks Sonia
I admire your thoroughness in checking the Archive text. I will do the corrections next weekend.

the part struck me as strange, Gadd seemingly speaking to himself that's why I checked. I'll keep archive open for more such blunders in Gutenberg.alanmapstone wrote: ↑June 18th, 2018, 12:11 am I admire your thoroughness in checking the Archive text. I will do the corrections next weekend.

I've had a crack at James Telfer

NB: There's a bit where Telfer refers to "Mr. Glower" - this is probably a typo, but it might just be Pinero's idea of a joke, so I've left it as shown in the online text, but also put in a "Mr. Gower" next to it so whoever's stitching it together can choose!

aha, thank you, Patrick, enthusiasm is always a good thing and since the role has not yet been claimed by anyone else, I can sign you up for this part.
However, it would be better to claim BEFORE recording anything. Sometimes the MW is not totally up-to-date and if someone had put in a previous claim, I could not have used your lines and the work would have been done in vain.
Always better make sure you claim beforehand, it saves us all unnecessary work and disappointment.
For now I'll update the MW and will PL the files tomorrow morning.
I'll check with the original and let Todd know. Thanks for mentioning it !NB: There's a bit where Telfer refers to "Mr. Glower" - this is probably a typo, but it might just be Pinero's idea of a joke, so I've left it as shown in the online text, but also put in a "Mr. Gower" next to it so whoever's stitching it together can choose!

I checked with the original scan and indeed it is Gower, so there was a typo. Todd will paste in the correct line, thanks for recording two versions.PatrickLondon wrote: ↑June 18th, 2018, 7:48 am NB: There's a bit where Telfer refers to "Mr. Glower" - this is probably a typo, but it might just be Pinero's idea of a joke, so I've left it as shown in the online text, but also put in a "Mr. Gower" next to it so whoever's stitching it together can choose!
And your Telfer is absolutely wonderfully acted out, so in character of the "out-of-date actor" That was a mean sentence in the play, I can imagine that Telfer was seriously miffed at that. Oh but you made the toasts drag on and on and on... they probably wanted to get back at you for that.
So no missing lines as far as I can see and all perfectly acted, this is absolutely PL ok. There's only one tiny note I'd like to make:
> at 4:47: between “A good girl——“ and “She is a good girl,” there is Mrs Telfer’s speech in between but you did not leave much editing space for Todd. But as you have no other errors, I think for this time Todd will manage to fiddle with the bits. No need to re-upload.
Thank you so much and I hope I hear you in some other plays soon.
Note for Todd: the voice credit has been added to the 4th act and is missing in the first.
