Edit: I don't have a personal url but you can use my user name as my general name :-) Altho' i have toyed with the idea of PirateNinjaCaptainThunder as a Pseudonym...actually i haven't but now that I stop to think about it...

MJEB  is fine.

Thanks for the edit MJEB, I hate to say this, but the volume level is now up to 81 dB.
note: when uploading a replacement file, please use the original filename. Our uploader renames the original file so it is available if necessary.

*You should aim for your wave forms to peak near the 0.5 mark, like this:

You can check your volume using our Checker program - see info at http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Checker You will find the volume in decibels on the Information tab. For your information, we look for around 89 dB (87-91 is OK)
There is a great selection of instructional videos here. http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Instructional_Videos

I overcame my fear of amplification.

I underscored.

I named appropriate...right...correctl...the thing you asked.

thank you for your patience.

Not a bit. My first time with LV and I just put together a new V/O rig (new mic, new ADC, using Audacity rather than pro-tools) so I am still running it through its paces and learning where the noise floor is on the signal.
