Nighthawks--
Two notes for Chapter 15: At 1:52 please read the text of the dolls' invitation; also, please read the title of the chapter between the chapter number and the text that follows. Thank you--well done on a longer piece!

Hi Lynne,
Hope you and your family are doing okay. I've almost finished all the PL for the cookbook, but have the following questions.
#1 Lam83 may not have time to fix the volume on her file for chapter 9--does that chapter need to be recorded again by someone else?
#2 Is it necessary to have the chapter titles read between the chapter number and the text; right now, it's not consistent throughout the book--perhaps that is just a small concern. Chapters 7, 13, 14, and 15 are the ones which would need to be corrected.

Please let me know your thoughts--thanks.

Thank you for asking... getting there but not totally out of the woods. Maybe 80-85%.

If the problem is just volume, I can fix that before cataloguing. In general, we ask the reader to fix it, otherwise there is a lot of extra work for the MC (say, if every file needed to be fixed).

As for the chapter titles, that is a personal decision for the BC. IMO, as long as the chapter title is read at the beginning of the chapter, that is OK (it doesn't need to be read twice). I'm not that bothered about consistency as when I'm listening to a book, I forget what the last person read at the beginning of the chapter anyway

Sorry for the mistakes, have now hopefully corrected them. :?: Out of curiosity, can you please tell me the difference between ready for spot PL. and ready for PL.

Hello Nighthawks,
Chapter 15 is now PL okay--thanks for making the corrections. Ready for PL means that the text is being proof-listened for the first time; Ready for Spot PL means that any corrections have been made and the text is now ready for a second listening. Your other chapters--7, 13, and 14 are marked for a Spot PL only because the name of the chapter isn't mentioned, as you did for Chapter 15. If you would please add those titles, we will be all set.
Many thanks, Lora

I would add that Ready for PL means the DPL needs to listen to the whole thing: Ready for Spot PL means the DPL can skip the the spot where the error was and just listen to maybe 5 seconds to make sure the error is no longer there.
