Reminds me of the judges of the Old Testament. A good system -- if you can find the judges.

PL OK, of course.

Larry -

Well - here's the longest chapter in the book -

Chapter 38 ready for PL.

Seems like it could have been shorter. I thought the ad for the library catalog was a little odd.

Hi Larry -

Chapter 39 ready for PL.

If my mutilation of their language doesn't have every Tsimshean buried along the Pacific coast spinning in their graves, I'd be surprised!

Hi Larry -

Chapter 40 ready for PL. Glad it wasn't any longer - my voice was a bit ragged today.

Great!
I'm just having so much of my LV time stolen from me this week.
But, I'll get to these just as soon as I can. I hope we can make the catalog for this month.

Ah, got a gift of time this morning!
Both sections are PL OK.
Enjoyed hearing about the salmon. I have fond memories of seeing the Indians netting the salmon from scaffolds built out over Celilo Falls on the Columbia River -- long since flooded over by the Dalles Dam.

Looking forward to hearing that final chapter!

The gift of time :? Some don't have enough - some perhaps have too much.

At any rate, as requested, here's chapter 42. Up to you and Ann now.
