Here's the new section 08.
https://librivox.org/uploads/philchenevert/anaccountofegypt_08_herodotus_128kb.mp3 Duration: 21:32.
Oh dear. It's still giving me the old file with 21:33 duration though I deleted that.

Pattie Marie:
Try hitting the refresh button on your browser. The link in your last post times out for me at 21:31, so whatever you cut, seems to be gone...although I do not know what time index it was at.
If hitting the refresh button doesn't work, there's probably a file name discrepancy somewhere.
Hope I'm helping.....
Philip

Yes, Philip. It's all right now. It was the phrase "As for Caraxos" (I may not be spelling that correctly) at about 15:24-26 that was repeated, and it's there just once now and the duration shows as 21:31. That happens quite often that the uploaded file is a second shorter than the duration shown by Windows Media Player which manages mp3 files on my computer. I guess it just took a little while for the new file to replace the old one. It's been a pleasure to work with you on this and the other projects.
So, Phil, I think this is ready to go.

Phil, I came to Philip's post of the link via notifications and got the file through the link in the post. When I came to mark it PL OK in the MW, I saw that the url hadn't been put into the MW and so just did it myself. Hope I wasn't over eager.philchenevert wrote: ↑July 19th, 2018, 12:07 pmPhilip.
