Great. I assembled Act 1 last night; I'll try to finish it off and do the other acts tonight or tomorrow before my computer goes back in the box for the completion of my move.

Thanks, Todd

Computer sitting on the kitchen table at my son's apartment. I pulled it out of the moving van at the last minute. All my other stuff is gone and delivered at my new house already, my old house is now sold, and I am going in to my last day of work today. Then sometime this weekend I box the computer again, drive forever, and wait (a week? two?) for internet at the new house so I can get to more than just the forum via cellphone.

Woo hoo! The adventure continues.

Thanks, Todd

I see. That was wise

How long is the drive to your new place ? Will you be going by car ? It sounds like an adventure indeed.

Enjoy your last-day-of-work-party !

Here are Acts 1 and 2 for final PL. Great voices all! (And what a silly story.)

3 is assembled but not groomed yet.

Thanks, Todd

(My move is about 500 miles - it'll take me a long day or more to get there early next week. But I don't have Internet in the new house yet....)

brilliantly comic scenes  I had to giggle aloud at some parts here. The scenes with Argante and Scapin and Geronte and Scapin are really hilarious. But everyone played their parts so well. every scene has some sort of highlight somewhere. Can't wait to listen to act 3 and the beating scene.

Act 1 is already PL ok.

One quick note for Act 2:

> at 24:44: "Don't go and expose yourself to...." -- "I will go to law." - I think it would sound better if Argante really cuts off Scapin here instead of waiting so long

other than that, all perfect as well.

I see you have uploaded the 3rd act just now. Not sure if I can finish that one today still as I will go visit my parents soon. But I'll try to do it tonight or tomorrow morning at the latest.

Great job !

aaaand Act 3 is also perfect: PL ok. Some hilariously comic scenes in there. I can just picture the mayhem displayed on a real stage

This has been a wonderful production and you all played excellently. :9: It was an absolute pleasure listening to all this.

Todd: this is now ready to be archived

This project is now complete. Audio files can be found in our catalog at https://librivox.org/the-impostures-of-scapin-by-moliere/

Many thanks to all of you and especially to our long suffering DPL - who got some of her own back at you by playing Scapin!

Thanks, Todd

 I wasn't suffering that much, but dishing out virtual beatings is a good stress relief from time to time. I'm sure Molière will give us all ample opportunity for more in his future plays
