I think thats what youd get if someone quotes your post like i am doing now. But i dont use notifications much so im not sure. Thank you!

Those are actually two different types of notifications!

You can all set them up in your profile (top right corner, click on the arrow next to your user name, "User Control Panel" and then look for notifications).

For each type of notification, you can select whether you would like a forum notification and/or an email notification (I think).

"Topic Reply Notification", if I recall correctly, comes from "subscribing" to a topic. You can do this to any topic you wish; when you post, there is a little checkbox "subscribe to this topic" which you can easily click; or you can select your settings so that it will automatically subscribe you to any thread you post in. It means that you will get a notification when someone else posts in that topic.

It's a personal preference if you want to use that or not, but you can customise exactly what kind of notifications you'd like to receive.
