Thank you, April ~ it is PL OK!
I changed the text source to the Gutenberg link for the book the story was from, just to be on the safe side, as the site you used does not have any public domain notice, etc., It is the same - I read along on PG while listening.

I did save the page the above link took me to, can I safely presume that since it is the Gutenberg site all there is pd?
Great knowledge for future recordings.

The majority of the texts on Gutenberg are PD. There are some that are not. To check, go to the bibrec tab (just to the right of where it says "Download") on the page for the book and scroll down to the part that says Copyright Status. If it says "Copyright Status Public domain in the USA.", then you are good to go!
(If you meant this text particular on PG, yes all the stories in the book at the link are PD! )

Thank you for that bit of knowledge which I am positive will be used by myself.

Yes ... even for this macho guy it was a hard one to get through. Ditto when I first encountered the story 4 or 5 years ago.

This appears to be the same recording as before - it is still missing the disclaimer. Perhaps you uploaded the wrong file?NishthaRocks wrote: ↑September 25th, 2018, 3:59 am Title - The Tale of Ginger and Pickles
