Here's 12 after a little break, Ann. Yes, it's getting more interesting with every chapter. Hope it keeps going that way!

Here's 13, Ann.

I noticed that there's a Wikipedia page for the 1930 move of the same name with a link to it part way down. It's so, so dated and VERY SCRATCHY, and I couldn't imagine watching it all, but thought you might be interested in taking a quick look. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inside_the_Lines

I could not get on the forum last night! Sheesh! Chapters 13 and 14 are PL OK!

I am going to watch that movie, thank you for posting it! I love watching those old movies, they can be so dramatic.

16 is a bit longer than usual. So much dialogue and so many different voices! But I see the light at the end of this tunnel of intrigue and love. :)

17 is the shortest chapter in the book so far, and by far.

As they used to say on old-time radio, "Stay tuned for the thrilling climax!"

OK, Ann:

Here's  18 and, no surprise, :9: 19. *

Inevitably, I just made a slight change to the book summary, so please go with this submission.

Thanks, thanks, THANKS!

* I would have liked to change the last word in the book from girl to woman, but... didn't.
