Um…is anybody MC-ing this? I have 61 recorded and ready to upload, but it hasn't been assigned to me yet, and I'm reluctant to send it until it has been. The Magic Window hasn't been updated in days, it seems. I'd like to do more, but I'm no longer sure if anything is open. Looks like Lmnei has grabbed most of it…at least unofficially.

MDoorkeeper -

I will ask another admin if they know where Phil is these days.

You are right - he has not been online for a while. I am unable to update the MW.

MDoorkeeper -

Go ahead and upload Section 61 - there is nothing stopping you from doing so. :)

That way when Phil sees the things he needs to update he can also enter your recording information into the MW so Helen can get right on listening to it for you.

Hi Lynda. Oh wow. I have not been receiving any messages at all about this project for several days; apparently that system has broken down since I am subscribed to it and hve it bookmarked. Thanks for sending the PM about this and please don't hesitate to send me one if you notice anything at all strange. I will get on the backlog ASAP>

PL note
silences, 0:56, 1:20, 2:11, 2:22 ?
85.6db *The volume falls outside of the target range (86–92 dB).
Do you want me to remove the silences or insert some sound into them?
The DPL probably thiniks the silence is a bit too long. If you agree, just shorten them a bit.

I would like to claim 30 The Fairy Folk, 40 Over Hill, Over Dale and since I am half Swedish I would like to claim 37 The Fairy Wedding and 38 The Tomts. By the way your tutorial on youtube detailing how to upload the 1 minute test was a lifesaver! Thank you, AnnaLisa Bodtker
Only section 30 is available but that one is all yours. Look around for something else that may be fun.

Thanks,

mzwhit
Hi mzwhitney and a big welcome to LibriVox! :D I have assigned that section to you but before you record it, please make and upload a 1 minute test to be sure your recording set up is OK. Instructions can be found in our Wiki and in the first post of this project but Here is a video that may help too: How to Make your 1 minute test.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlaRY_-bcfs and then How to Upload your 1 minute test How to Upload your 1 minute test

(You may post the link to your test in this forum and I will see it much more quickly)

I also recommend Getting To Know our Forums Getting To Know Our Forums

We just want to check out your technical specs. Don't forget to post the link either in this thread or in Listeners WAnted forum. And how would you like to be credited in our catalog? What name? most of us use our real name but it is up to you.

…Oh wait…I see someone has already claimed 37 and 41 has already been recorded, but the magic window hasn't been updated. Oh well…that'll teach me to read the whole post.
Yeah, it has been a rough week. The only one available is 61 and I have assigned thqat to you. Sorry for the confusion but have fun anyway, eh?

Hello everyone! I have not been getting any notifications that you wonderfulo people were making claims so this project has gotten a bit er.... confusing. Hopefully all claims are now in the Magic Window BUT if anyone sees that I've overlooked someothing PLEASE let me know. Fairy tales and elves are important and i don't want to leave any of em out.

I would like to claim 4,5,20,31,32,52,53,54,55,64,65,71 please.

I will wait until these are assigned just in case I have picked a section that someone has already spoken up for.

Off to Africa now -

Lynda
This still needs to be assigned Phil.... :) Thanks!

PS - Not sure what is happening to number 3 - I will take it also - the funny thing is it says "Claimed" on it but no person assigned to it....
