Chapter 12

at 15 minutes and 35 seconds:

Methinks Miriam is the type to really enjoy torturing herself. Perhaps we've all "been there" but, boy...

Hi. Sorry it's taken a while. I've been dreading this upload. Again I thought my headset was connected and the open mic was going instead. I did my best editing but I'm sure there are spots that need to be redone. Been working weeks on this one and wanting to give up on it a few times. Hopefully most of it is salvage-able.

Good chapter, though. Miss Mattie is correct in assessing that her back "going-out" can't magically be cured with tricking herself to believe that it hasn't.

13
Volume is high (96.4dB) and needs to lowered by about 6-7dB. My concern is that this will make the opening few seconds (0-4.5s) of the file sound very quiet.

Wow, that's all? Well I re-uploaded chapter 13 after lowering the volume. I notice after compressing a file it has this weird, almost "fade-in" effect that I can't figure out how to compensate for, even if I have ten seconds of silence at the front of the whole thing.

I de-amplified around 6dB (or so it appeared I did) most of the file and about 4dB for that first few seconds.

I do have chapter 14 prepared as well, at 16 minutes and 8 seconds.

And now for Barbara and Miriam to start cringing and writhing at the possibilities...
