sect 8
PL notes: The reading part is fine, no errors. The problem is with background noise throughout the recording.
1- 5:00-6:00 doors
2- Background noise at: 16:00, 18:51, 19:31, 20:08, 21:54,
3- 22:30 Dog,
4- 23:34 door
5- background noise at: 31:29, 32:15,
6-32:54-42:40 In this last part (I use earphones) the noise/sound made listening very uncomfortable.

*This does not have to be redone.
The doors & dog -edit out.
The rest try noise cleaning in Audacity. See the LibriVox wiki page on page 1. or

Hi Carolin,

Here's section 6, I used the checker tool and it passed but it's my first recording so happy for any and all feedback to improve!

Sorry, realise I should also have added the length of section 6, which is 22:18

Regarding section 8: Thank you for listening to it and sorry for the previous poor recording! Hopefully this one is much better.

My microphone was just awful and no noise reduction or other options would help, as it then sounded like a tunnel and/or not loud enough etc. So, I won't bother you with the details, but this is a totally new recording of section 8.

Many thanks.

Section 8:

Hi Carolin,

Sorry, you must be busy and did not notice... Section 8 needs PL as it is a totally new recording. I needed to change hardware to end up with a decent result. It is my first recording, so definitely needs checking.

Thanks for all you do for Librivox.
