Oh dear, I'm still getting the original file with a duration of just 6:29. It should be about 6:34 now. I've cleared my cache and still get the old file. Could you check that you uploaded the new one, Mark?
Hmm. Well, I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree, as evidence is clearly showing  ! Let's try this again.

Did it this time. It's not a matter of brightness but experience. :) Section 17 is PL OK.

Thanks Mark, I think you are done! The first section is the hardest but now you know how it goes!

If you want to read something else short, try the Short Works forum - I have a children's book there The Shaggy Man in Oz (green link in my signature) or there's poetry and lots of other interesting things to read!

Thanks to you!

I glanced through a bit of The Shaggy Man in Oz. I am interested in that, but I have a long section of Dostoevsky to read and edit first. Let me knock that out and I'll circle back to you about the children's book.

Blessings,
Mark

Thank you, Larry, but the volume of this file is far to low to listen to. A file that was ready from another project I'm proofing plays loud and clear on my speakers, and yours passed Checker with a volume of 53.1 db while the range wished for is something like 86 to 92. I'm guessing your input volume setting slipped downwards without your noticing.

I think you can boost it with the amplify effect. Could you please try that and upload again? :)

Wow, I have no idea what happened here

The recording was high, so I amplified it down before exporting. I'm sure I would have noticed that flat line before doing that. I would blame it on the new Audacity I had to download to the new laptop, and the awkward way ReplayGain installed, but I did have this same thing happen awhile back.

Anyway, it seems to have come through without much distortion when I restored it, so I hope this is acceptable.

Thoroughly acceptable. Glad you didn't have to record it all over again. :D Section 13 is PL OK.

Section 1 -- as clear an exposition of the doctrine as we will find . . .

Thank you for the kind words.
It is hard not to be passionate when reading these.

Thought I'd lost Chapter 20, but there it was, all edited and waiting to upload. Hmmm.
So, here are my final three:
