[COMPLETE] Rowdy of the Cross L by B. M. Bower - dc
Section 05 is ready for PL.
I'm thinking about redoing chapter 4. I was having some congestion/allergy issues the day I recorded it. Do you have an opinion about how it sounds? I'm thinking it is different enough from the rest of the book that it sort of stands out.

Tom:
Section 5 is PL-OK! Nicely done!
I went back and listened to a random minute of both sections 3 & 4. There is a slight difference between 4 & 5, which was only noticeable because my attention was called to it, but I could detect none between 3 & 4. My suggestion is that its not that big of a difference--also--given the context of the storm at the beginning of the story, some congestion on Rowdy's part would be only normal.
Whatever you decide to do is ok by me.
Many thanks,
Philip

Tom:
Another fine reading. Section 6 is PL-OK. (It wouldn't be a western without the guys in the black hats).
Hope things are settling down in your part of the world.
Many thanks,
Philip
PS Have you ever seen the movie "The Villain" (1979) starring Kirk Douglas, Ann-Margaret and a cast of dozens of cameos--Schwarzenegger's first film role...its a western spoof of sorts (think of it as your standard western done in the style of a bugs bunny/roadrunner cartoon). If ever you need a laugh, there are dozens in it.

5:49 This is a quibble...so you don't actually have to change it unless you want to...your phrasing at 5:49...the phrase "You can jest bet...I'da told her" sounded to my ear as "You can just--but I'da told her.
Many thanks,
Philip
