I'd think you can hardly go to prison just for being lazy!
I haven't listened to this, so don't know if it is relevant, but under the English Poor law of 1601, the "Undeserving Poor" (i.e. those who refused to work, rather than those who couldn't) were sent to prison for being lazy 8-)

Here is the piece that will need the disclaimer. I've left it whole instead of splitting it, but if you wish, I can still divide it (there is an adequate place to do that in the text).

Street Musicians:

There is a microphone bump at ~0:20, but nothing to be concerned about... just watch it in future recordings.
~0:43 stumble "the act... the act of 1863"

Aah Margate: a frequent destination for day trips when I was a child :9: and I loved going to the amusement fair at Ramsgate (about 5 miles from Margate) on our way home. Happy days!

Lynne:

Glad I could provide a pleasant moment of nostalgia for today (they both sound like neat places). :D I have made the corrections and uploaded them to the MW.

Many thanks,

I know there is no need to pre-claim a section here, but just a quick note to let you know I found an interesting account of Alexander Graham Bell's involvement with the invention of the phonograph. Should come in just around 15:00 in duration. I'll work to get it posted soon.

Sounds good. If it is just over the 15:00, I have some discretion ("I'm in charge; I wear the hat" to quote The Aristocats... which was my father's catchphrase  )

Thank you, Robert. Unfortunately, it is Librivox policy to not employ sound effects. Could you upload a 'clean' version? Alternatively, you can upload directly to Archive yourself.
