Lynnet wrote: March 25th, 2018, 8:38 am Patrick, I have discussed this with Philip, and if you would like to read the extra pages, we can stretch the time to accommodate it. If you'd rather not, just let us know and it will be marked PL OK.
Thanks for finding such an interesting piece.
Lynne
It wasn't only a question of length. The opening of the whole chapter is a lively description of the dock, but to be honest I was also ducking the instance of the N-word, out of caution; I don't mind reading the extra if you think it better to correspond to an entire chapter in the text. Any thoughts (I have seen trigger warnings on similar pieces)?

We already have the warning for this project, so that's not an issue. But if you're not comfortable with it (totally understandable), that's fine. I'll mark it PL OK, but if you decide to go ahead, let us know so Philip can PL.

I'll read the extra and put up the complete chapter tomorrow. It's not as though Mayhew meant it to be disparaging.

Hi all,

After removing the static, I got the PL comments to remove a squeak at 13:15, and also to remove the "Figure X Omitted" comments.

Those are now incorporated into the latest upload, ready for Spot PL:

Duration: 15:19 (a little shorter due to the removals of the figure references)
