Stage Directions Act 3 has one small PL Note:

Intro says "Act 1" instead of "Act 3"
Thank you. Act 3 intro fixed and uploaded again. Now I can start assembling everything (except for the few missing characters).

Welcome aboard. I see that your One Minute Test has been ok'd so you know your equipment is set up properly and you are ready to go.

Let me quote a few "rules" for drama reading written by Sonia whom you will likely meet in other projects.
1) no need to do an intro or outro, this will be done by the narrator. Instead, record your voice credit at the beginning of the file, which here should be: "Colonel Lear, read by Professor Reads" (or whatever you want your reader name to be)

2) then browse through the text and record all the lines you have to speak. While it may not be necessary to read the whole play, especially if he only shows up in one act, it would be good to read a bit around your lines, see what the others are saying, so you can better "react" to them. Just be as dramatic as you can in your character. That's the fun in drama :9:

3) if there are stage directions qualifying your voice, like [laughs] or [sneezes], an added bonus would be that you act those out in your reading, if possible. Makes it more lively. :9:

4) very important: leave enough space between each of your speeches, preferably 2-3 seconds. Even when you have stage directions in the middle of your speech , like [slaps him] or something, also leave 2 seconds of pause there, because the editor has to copy all your parts and paste them in a master file and it's helpful if he has enough space to fiddle with

I think that's it. The main thing is: Have fun !

Sonia

General Schuyler PL Notes:

Act 1 - a small repeat of "Ah" at 03:45. (there was a groan and an "Ah" at 3:32).
Act 2 - PL OK!

I can handle cutting out an extra "Ah" when I edit (which I plan to do tonight), so I will mark this PL OK.

Thanks, Todd
