I'm almost done editing my piece. I should have it up in a day or two.

Another strong rendition for this volume! This was superbly done.dravon wrote: ↑May 19th, 2018, 9:52 pm Section 30 (chapter 6) is uploaded and ready for review. *fingers crossed* I tried very hard to read the kids' quotes without an accent but it was nearly impossible so you'll hear traces of an inconsistent vaguely britishoid accent here. I also hope I didn't butcher the French and German too badly...

We have had some really great readers for this project, and just one to go, and Angie is almost there.

Angie:
Section 4 is in the MW and ready for PL. (Once you've been here awhile, you'll figure out that nearly all of us here are awesome--and you are awesome, too!) Thanks for the compliment, and the diligence with which you completed your difficult reading!
Larry will have this PL'd shortly.
Many thanks!

Back after 8/15. In the hands of the medicos.
Well, everyone, here we are....
The last section has been posted for PL and in a few days, this work will take its place in the Librivox collection. This project was near and dear to my heart...it is one of a handful of selections that I saw in passing that made me decide to become a part of this team of wonderful human beings here at Librivox.
To Jo...thanks for your incredible work as MC. Your guidance and patience throughout this project have been stupendous.
To Larry...your experience and dedication as our DPL ensured that the readings that were done were quality all the way. I'm so grateful that you volunteered to be a part of this project.
To our group of marvelous readers, thanks for taking a chance on this project. Angie, Bill, Devorah, Greg, Kish, Linda, Matt, Robert, and Sondra...your voices gave this project life, and although some of the sections were long and, in my opinion, of above-average difficulty, you never gave up, and the result is this marvelous finished project. Many thanks to each of you.
Be seeing you on the boards.
Philip

Thanks for an excellent recording.
As I said, we have had a very strong slate of readers, making this a superb work to have in the LV Catalog.
And thanks to Phillip for putting this project together and for guiding us along the way -- and for some of that fine reading. It has been my pleasure to listen along.
