Hey everyone, just letting you know that I'm still here.
Sorry that it's taking me so long to upload, my new microphone will be here in 2 days as will my acoustic foam! I can't wait!
What's the average time it takes for people to upload their particular segments of Audio?
Thanks again, -Angie

Angie:
Glad to hear your mike will be here soon. I hope you will be pleased with it. AS far as how long an upload takes, that is so variable (and so individual) that I don't think a consistent answer is possible. The best thing to do is just watch your particular upload speed as you upload files. As you upload more, you'll begin to develop a "feel" for it.
As far as re recording goes, I've done it many times when I feel the results aren't ready for Librivox...but as I got more experience, I do it a lot less. While I would echo Devorah's comments that it is rarely necessary from a Librivox standpoint, if you are not happy with the end result, then by all means give it another shot--at the end of the day it is your recording.
Just recently I upgraded my microphone and re-recorded a section to see if it came out better--it did. So I'd be the last person to say don't do it.
Many thanks,
Philip

Larry:
Section 13 is ready for spot PL. (My outdoor work got rained out today, so I had an extra minute. Kish has not been back to Librivox since she uploaded this section.)
Section 20 is Ready for PL.
Many thanks,
