Wow, Barbara! H.G. Wells! Have any anecdotes?

My ears were too young, Philip! But I gathered that what Mencken scathingly refers to as the "intellectualized adulteries" in Wells's fiction were actual and drawn from life.

"Aid" is the one most commonly used. Chapter 15 & 16 are yours.

Oh no it's not, Philip

Somehow Section 16 got entered in the MW in place of Section 12 (as well as in its own place). So I've marked Section 12 "PL Notes". I did find it, as Linda had given a link in her forum post.

Great Shasta, except that the opening silence needs to be longer - it should be 0.5 to 1 second in all - so I've marked it "PL notes". When you've added the extra silence, that can can be added to the length.
